Field Work Monitoring Module

Field Work Monitoring module is the most useful module of the SmartCity-311 application as it allows field officers to create their regular field inspection reports of varied categories directly from the field using their smartphone. Field officers and inspectors can capture a photo of the field that automatically gets the latitude and longitude information with its ward and zone and submit it. Moreover, senior officers and top authorities can easily track down the progress of the mentioned field. They can also make comments on any particular report to have specific communication with concerned officers about any issue.

Types of Inspections covered in Smartcity-311

We all know that the main purpose of the field inspection is to determine whether the facilities or sites, which are inspected, are meeting their obligations or not. In order to see that whether the field officer is actually present on the field or not. By measuring this data, the duplication of work can be avoided and all the necessary data can be captured on site using smartphones.

Digital forms need to be provided to the field officers to assist them in ensuring that there is a uniform process for conducting inspections performed to meet the department’s responsibilities, for providing information and technical assistance to other stakeholders, conciliation and persuasion and achieving regulatory compliance.

Comprehensive Inspection

When it comes to comprehensive inspection of any site, it includes, construction permit site visit, road paving, laying of drainage/water line, engineering, inspection of potentially high hazard areas of an establishment, etc.

Partial / routine Inspection

Mainly, partial/routine inspection’s focus is limited for officers to being present on site so that they can assure that the work is carried out as instructed to a particular area or work type like cleaning of public toilets, roads, etc.
