COVID-19 spread across the entire nation like a wildfire and each province started to work towards coming up with a better plan and solution to tackle the pandemic. One such effort was made by the civic body of Indore where they introduced a new feature into their existing Indore 311 app. The results were terrific. It helped the local government to control the spread of the disease, decrease mortality rate and manage people in self-quarantine. The app even helped authorities to take the sick to the hospitals quickly thus saving lives and controlling spread. Recently, PMO noticed the good work of the app and asked for its details. It is hinted that the app might be included in the radio programme of PM Narendra Modi, “Mann Ki Baat”, which is aired on All India Radio, DD National and DD News.
