About ePAAS
Talatis are an integral part of the Panchayati Raj system of governance in the villages in India. They play an important role in the Gram Panchayat for the developmental and the conventional work done in the villages.
Owing to the rapid developmental work happening throughout the country, including villages and rural areas, the need for an efficient system has been felt, to make things more efficient and organized.
ePAAS, which stands for ePanchayat Asset & Attendance System is one such step that has been taken by the Department of Panchayats, Rural Housing and Rural Development, Gandhinagar.
This application is specially designed to ensure the availability of talatis on their field of work so that work can be monitored efficiently. It also helps their seniors track the presence of the talati on the field based on their latitudinal and longitudinal coordinates in the GPS.
